Intensive Finnish Language Weekend

26–27 September 2026 at the Finnish Church in London

Spend a weekend immersed in the Finnish language in the heart of London. Whether you are taking your very first steps in Finnish or already speak the language with confidence, this intensive and welcoming course offers an opportunity to practise, learn, and enjoy Finnish together with other learners.

The course takes place at the Finnish Church in Rotherhithe, London, on Saturday 26 September from 9:30 to 17:00 and Sunday 27 September from 9:30 to 15:00. Both days begin with coffee or tea, and classroom teaching starts at 10:00. Lessons include a combination of practical communication, conversation, and grammar exercises designed to help participants use Finnish more naturally and confidently in everyday situations.

Participants will study in three groups. Roosa Herranen will be the assistant teacher, and all three teachers will work with each group.

You can enrol for one day only or choose the full two-day intensive course. The fee is £95 for one day or £160 for both days.

The fee includes lunch and afternoon coffee on Saturday, as well as lunch and a farewell coffee with cake or cinnamon buns on Sunday. Accommodation is not included in the course fee, but we will be happy to help you find suitable accommodation if needed.
